Love Letter

Currently my Minimal Travel Table Top Game Collection 3 contains these cards for playing this.

This is a game for 2-4 players.

Cards

Pick up all cards from the set with purple index.

Parts of the cards used: text under the main number and top right corner numbers.

• 5 x Guard (1)
• 2 x Priest (2)
• 2 x Bishop (3)
• 2 x Handmaid (4)
• 2 x Prince (5)
• 1 x King (6)
• 1 x Countess (7)
• 1 x Princess (8)

Setup

Shuffle the deck, burn one card and deal every player one card.

Gameplay

Each turn, player draws a card and plays one of their two cards, faceup.

Then do what the card says:

• Guard: Choose one other player and guess their hand card. You cannot guess a guard. If you guess right, they discard and are out.
• Priest: Choose one other player and they will show you their card.
• Bishop: Choose one other player and secretly compare cards. Smaller card loses and is out.
• Handmaid: Play in front of you. You cannot be targeted by other players until your next turn.
• Prince: Choose a player (you or any other). They discard their card and draw a new one.
• King: Choose any other player. Switch cards with them.
• Countess: You must play this card if your other card is Prince or King.
• Princess: You cannot play this card. If it's discarded for any reason, you lose.

Last person standing on a round gets a point. Three points wins the game.

If there are more than one player left when deck runs out, compare cards. Highest wins.
