6 Nimmt!
Currently in my Minimal Travel Table Top Game Collection 3. Here are simplified rules for 6 Nimmt!.
Cards
For this game, you need:
- 2-10 players
- 104 cards, numbered 1–104 (colored yellow)
- A way to keep score between rounds
Setup
- Shuffle all cards, deal 10 to each player.
- Draw 4 cards face up and arraign them to start 4 rows.
Gameplay
- Game plays until someone scores 66 points or more.
- Each round is played until all hand cards are played (10 turns).
- Each player plays a card from their hand face-down in front of them. When everyone has played their card, reveal all at the same time.
- Starting from the smallest played card, place each card into one of the four rows. The row is determined by finding the row with the largest card that is smaller than played card.
- If a player plays a 6th card in any row, they must take all cards (except the newly played one) into their score pile.
- If a played card is smaller than the last card in any row, the player must take any row and add those cards to their score pile.
Scoring & Next round
- At the end of the round, calculate the bullheads and sum up the points.
- Shuffle all 104 cards back to the deck and start again.
Game end
- The game ends when one player scores 66 points or more.
- At that point, player with smallest score wins.
