  • Shuffle the deck and deal 12 to each player face down (16 with 3 players). Place the last card face up in the middle. This card determines the trump suit.

Gameplay

  • Player who has the [A] card starts the first round.
  • If [A] is trump card dealt face up, player with [K] starts.
  • Starting player plays any card from their hand.
  • Other players must follow suit if they can. If they can't, they can play any card from their hand.
  • Winning a trick
  • If [A] was played, [A] wins the round
  • If trump suit was played, highest of those wins
  • Otherwise the highest of the lead suit (first card played) wins
  • Winner takes all the cards, places any [7] face up in front of them and others into a pile (with each trick as its own pile)

End of game

  • The game ends if at the end of a round, one of the following is true:
    1. Any team has 4 Boss Yukai ([7]) in front of them -> they win (in 3-player game, 3 Boss Yukais)
    2. Any team has won 7 tricks -> they lose
    3. Players have no more cards in the hand -> player who won the last trick wins
