Potluck

Potluck

Potluck is my own creation. It's a deck of cards that can play hundreds of games.

Some of the games it is designed for are: 6 Nimmt!, No thanks!, Love Letter, Coup, For Sale, 7 Signum/Sluff Off, Lost Cities, Onitama, Texas Showdown / Seas of Strife and any game that uses regular 4-suit A-K playing cards.

It's especially designed for to be a deck of cards that fits into a (large) pocket and can be brought with me to everywhere I go: from offices and hotels to conferences and trains. I'll always be able to play a game and make a few new friends when I leave home.

Flamme Rouge

Flamme Rouge

Flamme Rouge is the best racing board game. In Flamme Rouge, each player controls two cyclists, aiming to win a cycling race. Both cyclists have their own deck of numbered cards and each round, players simultaneously select a card from their hand to decide how far their cyclist will advance.

Star Fluxx

Star Fluxx

Star Fluxx is a card game where the rules are constantly changing. You draw cards and play cards, aiming to fulfill a goal of the game - which is also constantly changing. It's fun and it's chaotic.

Love Letter

Love Letter

Love Letter is the perfect filler game between bigger games or while waiting for more people to join. Each turn, you have two cards to choose from and must play one, activating its ability. The goal is to eliminate all other players to win the round.

Village Rails

Village Rails

Get your hard hat on, we're gonna build railroads! Village Rails is a tile-laying game with small puzzle element. You're tasked with building a 3x4 grid with connected rails that you purchase from a shared market.

Modern Art

Modern Art

Modern Art is an art auction game where your goal is to purchase the art that becomes most valuable - with a purchase price that maximises your profits. It's a fun game when played with a casual, non-minmaxing gaming group.

Crisis

Crisis

Crisis is on the heavier side of my games. It's a worker placement resource management game where players are competing against each other but they must make sure that collectively the nation is doing good enough to avoid from falling into a crisis.

Takenoko

Takenoko

Build a garden, feed the panda, irrigate plots and keep the emperor happy. Takenoko is a tile-laying game where players tend a shared garden while trying to score by fulfilling their goals. It's a lot of fun and the panda is real cute.

Zombie Dice

Zombie Dice

Zombie Dice is a classic push your luck dice rolling game. A good filler but not a lot of depth into it.

Munchkin

Munchkin

Light role-playing with cards and funny characters, weapons and enemies. Munchkin is a board game classic we played countless hours at university. It's all fun and games until someone reaches level 9 and is about to win at which point it becomes a back-stabbing mayhem.

Gloom

Gloom

Gloom is a story-telling card game where your goal is to make your characters suffer and die while collecting the most amount of negative points – and adding positive points and happy encounters to your opponents' characters. It's at its best when everyone playing immerses into the world and tells stories based on their cards.

Port Royal

Port Royal is a fun push your lack drafting card game with a pirate theme. Your goal is to trade with ships, fight off pirates, hire crew, complete expeditions and be the first player to reach threshold of victory points.

In Quoridor, two (or four) players aim to reach the opponent's end on the field – and to place walls to prevent your opponent from doing so before you do.

Santorini

Santorini

Two players or teams are gods in ancient Greek building towers. In this tactics game, players can move and build pieces of buildings with the goal to step on the third level of any building to win.

Leaves

Leaves is a 2-player tile-laying strategy game. On their turn, a player pushes their tile into an evergrowing tree, moving existing pieces around. Once all leaf tiles have been played, the player who has more leaves touching thet trunk, wins.

Hive is a 2-player hexagon (they are the bestagons) tile laying and moving game where the goal of the game is to use your insects and their unique abilities to surround your opponents Queen.

Draftosaurus

Draftosaurus

In Draftosaurus, players compete in building the most exciting dinosaur park. A Jurassic park, some might say. Players draft different dinosaurs from a randomised collection and place them in their dino pens according to the pen rules, dictated each round by a roll of a die.

Tak is an abstract strategy game for two players. Each player plays tiles on the board and moves them around with the goal of connecting two opposite sides with their tiles.

Tinderblox is a tiny dexterity game that fits into even small pockets but carries quite a game. On each player's turn, they must add logs and fire into the campfire with tweezers without dropping anything.

Embark on an epic space war in this 2 player deckbuilding game. Improve your fleet, protect yourself and attack your enemy to win the game.

Tiny Epic Galaxies

Tiny Epic Galaxies

In Tiny Epic Galaxies each player controls a galactic empire, aiming to expand their influence by acquiring highly contested planets and increasing their cosmic armada. The game revolves around an innovative dice-rolling combo mechanic. The number of dice you roll is determined by the strength of your galaxy. Each die is engraved with symbols representing the various actions you can take, such as moving a spaceship, increasing your culture or energy resources, or advancing your political or economic influence over newly discovered planets.

Magic the Gathering: Battle Box

Wanna play Magic but don't want to bother with chasing cards and building decks? Battle Box is a perfect choice. Each player gets 10 lands (5 of each basic lands and 5 taplands) and they share a library. Just shuffle up and play!

Pokemon TCG Base Cube

Pokémon TCG: 2 Player Legacy Cube

80 cards, mainly from the early days of Pokémon TCG, to be drafted and played by two players. The cube contains 80 draftable cards, necessary energies and dice.

Pokemon TCG Pocket Cube

Pokémon TCG Pocket Cube

Pokémon TCG Pocket is a digital-only game but with this 2-player cube, you can bring those cards to reality and draft and play with a friend. 81 cards and a bunch of "everything energies" to emulate the digital experience on paper.

Forgetful fish, also known as Dandân after its main piece, is a shared deck format that challenges players with a mono-blue control deck and resource management.
