I like my green 3D printed webcam cover

I have a Logitech web cam sitting on top of my display at home. It’s been in my bedroom and my living room and my work area depending on where I’ve lived at times and having a webcam at home can be a bit scary.
I’m not scared of someone hacking my webcam but rather accidentally forgetting it on in a meeting I thought I left or something like that. I don’t want to accidentally show something that’s inappropriate to a work meeting or end up in a recording somewhere.
So I 3D printed a cover and at the time, I only had green filament so I printed it in green. I felt it wasn’t the prettiest option but since nobody else is gonna see it than me, I kept with it.

I though about one day reprinting it in black but I’ve now discovered that the green is perfect option:
It eliminates a lengthy troubleshooting step.
Let me explain. If I open my webcam in a video call and the screen is black, I probably start debugging it in the software: are the operating system permissions correct, maybe I need to rejoin the call or restart the browser and so on and so on.
When it is green, I’m immediately alerted to the fact that I have my cover on. It becomes obvious at that point.
That’s why I’m no longer considering reprinting it in black.
